What is BooChat?

BooChat is a Web3 social app with a built-in non-custodial multi-chain wallet. Chat and add friends with your wallet address — no traditional phone-number sign-up.

How is it different from typical social apps?

  • Social first: Private and group chats with end-to-end encryption
  • Non-custodial wallet: Mnemonic phrases and keys stay on your device; we do not custody assets
  • Wallet as identity: Add friends by address; no mandatory real-name verification
  • No fiat services: No fiat deposit, withdrawal, or conversion
  • AI compliance: Does not read private chats or use them for training

Are mnemonic phrases uploaded?

No. They are stored encrypted on your device only. We cannot access them.

Are chats stored on your servers?

Private and group chats are end-to-end encrypted. Plaintext stays on participants' devices; we cannot read it.

Which chains are supported?

Multiple EVM-compatible chains including BSC, Ethereum, and Polygon, with more added over time.

How do I delete my data?

You can clear local data in Settings.
