For BooChat
This Privacy Policy applies to BooChat ("the App"). We follow a data minimization approach.
1. Product Overview
BooChat provides Web3 social and non-custodial wallet features. Private and group chats use end-to-end encryption. Mnemonic phrases and private keys are controlled by you and stored on your device only.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not require legal name, government ID, or similar identity data (unless you voluntarily add profile info)
- We do not store plaintext of private or group chats (end-to-end encrypted)
- We do not collect or upload mnemonic phrases or private keys
- We do not use advertising or cross-app tracking
- AI does not read private chats or use them for training
3. On-Device Storage
The following stays on your device only and is not uploaded to our servers:
- Mnemonic phrases / key material (encrypted in system secure storage)
- App settings (language, theme, biometric toggle, etc.)
- End-to-end encrypted chat history and contacts
4. Information We May Process
To operate core services, we may process:

- We use end-to-end encryption, encrypted local key storage (e.g. AES-256-GCM), HTTPS, and related safeguards
- We do not sell personal data
- We may use third-party services such as push notifications and crash analytics. We do not integrate ad-tracking SDKs
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of local account data, and export contacts where supported in the app.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
9. Updates
We may update this policy and post changes on this page and in the app. Material changes will include an effective date.
